軌道工程鋼軌焊接品質之管理

摘要
現今拜科技與材料科學之發展,臺北捷運高運量軌道工程自工程規劃設計之初,即採
用當今領先之工程技術-連續長焊鋼軌(Continuous welded rail,CWR.),故從前我們在搭乘火
車時,一連串有規律聲響已成回憶。其聲響乃源自火車或電聯車鋼質車輪,經過鋼軌連接縫
隙因振動產生的聲音。採用連續長焊鋼軌,可解決傳統軌道鋼軌接縫問題,有效消除列車經
過傳統接縫處之振動與噪音,亦可降低縫隙兩端鋼軌之衝擊磨耗,增加使用壽命,提升平穩
性,增加乘客舒適性,也相對提高車輛營運速度,並大幅降低養護維修成本。為使連續長焊
鋼軌達上述境界,必須嚴格管控焊接品質,本文將闡述鋼軌焊接品質管理之做法。

Abstract
Owing to the advanced development of technology and material science, Taipei MRT construction
applied the leading construction technique- CWR (Continuous Welded Rail) in the trackwork at the
initial stage of planning. In the past, taking a train was always accompanied by a string of rhythmic
clinking and clanking sounds coming from the rails that have become a part of memories which we can
all share together. The noise resulted from vibrations caused by train or EMU wheels hitting against rail
joints when the train was running on steel tracks. Using CWR will solve the problems that the traditional
welded rail brought about and effectively eliminate vibrations and noise when trains pass over rail joints.
Also, it will decrease the amount of friction between steel rails and wheels; thus extending service
life, increasing the stability of trains, plus enhancing operation efficiency and passenger comfort. In
addition, substantial reductions in maintenance costs will be achieved as well. For CWR to develop the
aforesaid functions, weld quality needs to be strictly controlled and managed. This article explains the
implementation of rail welding quality control.
