Abstract
The CF643B project is part of the CF640 section of the “Three Rings and
Three Lines” Circular Line (Phase 1) project. Its geographical location spans
the Circular line Southern Depot and Xindian River and connects New Taipei
City Xindian District and Zhonghe District. The first phase of the Circular line
is from the east side of the Dapinglin Station of the MRT Xindian Line, the
structure was underground, then extruded to earth at Zhongzheng Road, and
continued to cross the Xindian River in the elevated bridge, then went along
the roads to Wugu Dist, with a total length of 15.4 kilometers, 14 stations (1
underground station, 13 stations elevated) and 1 depot.
This article will share the design process and design concept for the
CF643B Xindianxi Bridge. The bridge must consider the impact on the river,
to reduce the damage to the surrounding geological sensitive areas, to improve
the small radius of curvature so reducing the noise and vibration to reduce
the interference to the residents, to avoid setting rail expansion joints and
must merge into the surrounding environment. During the construction, DDC
cooperates with the supervision unit and the construction unit to overcome
various construction issues. The project was completed and delivered to the
track contractor successfully.
