本文介紹本局地理資訊系統(GIS)與捷運建設工程資訊整合。GIS 將真實世界裡的人、
地、物等空間資訊整合於地理資料庫，利於各種資訊的表達與溝通。臺北市政府捷運工程局(以
下簡稱本局)負責大臺北地區捷運工程建設，為配合捷運建設之進行，有效處理施工管理，進
行電腦資訊化工作，利用企業網路平台協助各業務作業收集資料；同時捷運建設因具備空間
分布特性，若能於瀏覽器平台上運用地理資訊技術整合捷運工程地理資訊系統(GIS)與管理資
訊系統(MIS)，以大台北地區圖形介面方式展現各類施工管理資訊，擴大資訊系統服務成效。

Abstract

This article describes the integration of the geographic information system (GIS) and the
engineering information system applied by DORTS. By combining a spatial database, which
represents real world entities, with a geographic database, GIS helps transmission and
communication among various information systems. To implement the construction of the Taipei
Metro, DORTS applies the information system via an intranet to deal with construction
management. Once the geographic information technique is integrated with the GIS and MIS
platforms and presents various construction-management information with a graphic interface of the
Taipei Metropolitan Area, the efficiency of the information system could be enhanced.
