                                              ABSTRACT


            Taichung Metropolitan Mass Rapid Transit System Wuriwenxin Beitun Line
            construction design starts from the vicinity of No. 2 Bridge on Songzhu Road, Beitun
            District, Taichung City in the east. Turn right at the intersection of Beitun Road to
            Wenxin Road Section 4, turn right to Wenxin Road, turn to Jianguo Road at the back of
            Sun Yat-sen Medical University via Wenxin South Road, and cross Razixi along the
            north side of the railway to enter the high-speed railway Wuri station area. The total
            length of the line is about 16.71 kilometers, of which the elevated section is about
            15.94 kilometers, and the ground section is about 0.77 kilometers. There are 18 stations
            and Beitun Machinery Factory is set up on the west side of Hanxi in Beitun District.
            Considering that the whole section of the road passes through the Taichung Elite
            section, due to the long-term exposure of the expansion joints of the viaduct to the
            environment with large temperature differences, it is easy to cause water leakage from
            the pier columns, and if water accumulates in some areas above the hat beam for a long
            time, it may also speed up It affects the corrosion of steel support pads and shear steel
            boxes, thereby endangering the structural safety of the bridge, and the surface of
            related beams and pier columns is also easily stained, which affects the beauty of the
            space under the bridge. In view of this, the construction team of this office, relying on
            past professional engineering experience, gave full play to their creativity and
            ingenuity, and put forward the creative idea of " cappingbeam plates ". Through the
            management process of planning, doing, checking and action (PDCA), The
            management process will summarize the relevant difficulties and find solutions,  We
            hope that this advanced concept can further improve the overall construction safety,
            quality and efficiency, and provide reference for peers to learn from.
