Abstract

The project, featuring the integration of MRT station with commercial
and office spaces, is conceived as the theme of "Introducing nature". The
concept illustrates that a geometric form is divided and moved to present it
is an organic building in urban. Sunlight and greenery are the basic factor in
the site; however, a crossing corridor on first floor and a greening sidewalk
nearby the building provide people a comfort and easy-going public space,
symbolizing breeze wind passing through. It has been an open, friendly, and
lively urban environment.
In terms of architectural planning, this high-rise building will be a landmark
in Zhongshan Station, as a result of the project’s site locates commercial area
in the southeast of Taipei city. Design details illustrate modern and flowing
architectural style including vertical sun visor, various colors curtain wall,
and rooftop greening. It shows a new urban style by building and environment
symbiosis.
