                                                          摘要

                 臺北捷運系統自開始規劃至今已長達 25 年,從木柵線 85 年 3 月通車及 86 年淡水線之分
            段通車,至目前 120 公里之通車路線,提供民眾享受快速、便捷之現代大眾運輸方式之交通生
            活。回想過去,捷運工程為一具技術密集,資金密集性,為規模龐大且複雜之系統工程,當初
            在國內尚屬首創,在毫無經驗下,透過總顧問之方式逐步導入人才及技術,經過學習、消化、
            吸收來自捷運大國先進技術,逐步移植、生根,累積知識、經驗與技能,轉換為本土環境,培
            育並發展為本局特殊技術與能力。然為因應目前之知識經濟的年代,本局以不斷改進、落實精
            益求精及虛心受教之態度,引進捷運新科技與新思維,於設計階段由設計顧問提出初步之構

            想,經由不斷的研討與腦力激盪下,已有亮麗之成果展現,作者利用本文將土建的新材料、新
            工法與新技術中較重要項目作整體性之概述,也藉由知識之分享讓同仁享受豐碩之成果。

                 Taipei MRT Adopts New Materials, Revolutionary Construction
                  Methods, and Latest Techniques-Sharing Remarkable MRT

                          Construction Achievements over the Past 25 Years

                                                       Abstract

                 It has been over 25 years since the planning of the Taipei MRT project first began. The Muzha
            line was the first to come into service in March 1996. Then the Tamsui line started up in 1997,
            and now Taipei MRT has been extended to 120 kilometers long. Taipei MRT not only provides the
            public with a rapid and convenient transportation system, but also creates a modern metropolitan
            life for people in the Greater Taipei area.
                 The MRT is a technology-intensive, capital-centric, complex large-scale construction project. As Taipei
            MRT is the first of its type in the nation, the Department of Rapid Transit Systems (DORTS) entrusted
            American Transit Corporation (ATC) as general consultant to carry out the planning. Through absorbing
            advanced technical knowledge from overseas, MRT technology has been gradually localized and taken root in
            Taiwan. Furthermore, by accumulating rich knowledge and experience, Taipei MRT has successfully cultivated
            its professionals and developed particular ability in these areas.
                 DORTS has applied the latest MRT techniques and creative thinking to continually improve the detailed
            design process in response to the current knowledge-based economy. After day-to-day discussions and
            brainstorming sessions with the detailed design consultant who proposed the initial concept, DORTS’ staff
            have attained many brilliant outcomes. This article aims to briefly introduce the new construction materials,
            revolutionary methods, and latest techniques which have been used in the current MRT project, and share
            DORTS’ remarkable achievements obtained from constant study and research.
