challenges, including expedited construction on Phase I and II construction of the Tamsui line as

well as work on the Xiaonanmen line and Bannan line Phase I. During that period, I negotiated
compensatory management for contractual dispute related to a track joint venture, promoted
knowledge-based economy, conducted Typhoon Nari rescue operations and participated in
preliminary preparations for the Luzhou line tendering. For the last decade I devoted to the Taipei

MRT project, I served as deputy director and then director of South District Project Office. Over the
past 23 years working for the Taipei MRT, I realized that the key to passing down experiences lies
in respect, trust, authorization, enthusiasm, passion, motivation, affection and faith, and response
capability.
