                              Newly Enhanced Programmed Station Stop System

                                       on the Xinzhuang and Luzhou Lines

                                                       Abstract

                   With the fact that platform doors have been installed on every station of the Xinzhuang
               and Luzhou MRT lines, improving berth accuracy of automatic train control system is a real
               challenge. The points discussed in this article are as follows:

                    ♦ Introduction of Carborne ATC Cabmatic III installed on the Xinzhuang/Luzhou lines
                          ♦ Operation theory of programmed station stop on the existing MRT lines
                    ♦ Enhancement of programmed station stop system on the Xinzhuang/Luzhou lines
                          ♦   Set-up of the parameter of PID on the portable test unit for programmed station stop
