捷運機電系統工程對許多人而言，知其然而不知其所以然；看得到的如電聯車、月臺門、

電梯、電扶梯、自動售票機、出入閘門、閉路電視等等，看不到的諸如電聯車的行駛控制、
月臺門的開關控制、電扶梯的快慢控制、捷運車票的買賣、悠遊卡加值處理程序等。
在社會大眾安全享用捷運系統的便捷、舒適與美觀之前，有一群人，在烈日驕陽下的工
地裡，在幽暗潮濕的隧道中，默默地做著手頭上的工作，一釘一鎚建構出臺北捷運系統。其

中捷運機電系統工程，包括電聯車工程、號誌系統、供電系統、車站設施工程 ( 電扶梯、自
動收費系統等 )、通訊系統與機廠設備。
或許捷運市民對現有的捷運系統有著更高的期望，而這正也是我們目前努力的目標。藉
此機電施工影像之旅，呈現捷運系統誕生前我們用心孕育的系統與勞動影像，期盼社會大眾

在更多認識後，持續給我們這群辛勤的捷運系統工程勞動者溫暖的掌聲。

The work scope of electrical and mechanical (E&M) systems is quite an unknown field and
strange to most people. It covers those items that are visible such as: electric multiple units (EMUs,
commonly called trains), platform screen doors, elevators, escalators, automatic ticket issuing
machines, ticket gates, surveillance cameras, etc. However, it also includes invisible things such
as: train driving control, opening-and-closing control of platform screen doors, escalator speed
control, ticket purchasing procedures, adding value to an EasyCard, etc.
E&M systems also include the signaling system, power supply system, communication
system, station facilities and depot facilities.
Only after a group of construction crews work intently and silently under the hot sun or in
damp and dark tunnels, can people enjoy a convenient, comfortable, and aesthetically appealing
MRT system.
The public always has high expectations for the MRT system and that is the goal we
continuously give our best efforts to achieve. Through this photo gallery of E&M systems
construction, we would like to present readers with images interpreting how an MRT system was
created. We hope that members of the public extend their full support and warm appreciation to
those who work industriously for the system’s construction.
