Review and Prospects of Sinotech’s Role in MRT Technical Service

Abstract

Over the past 30 years, Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. has provided technical services
on more than 40 MRT projects in Taiwan. Beginning on the Taipei MRT with the support of
international consultants, Sinotech quickly accumulated enough technical background and expertise
to independently design the Tucheng line with domestic engineers. Nowadays, Sinotech provides
a variety of technical services within the life cycle of an MRT system, including planning, design,
construction, and operations. With strong motivation to serve the nation and its citizens, Sinotech
has been delivering outstanding, award-winning services with excellent performances in innovative
design and service quality. By promoting innovative ideas and state-of-the-art technology, Sinotech
seeks to meet customer expectations and adapt to world trends.
In this article, the authors review several key MRT projects Sinotech conducted in the past in
