Abstract

Technical documentation including specifications, design drawings, etc. is a key
reference for implementing the Taipei MRT project. Becoming familiar with the contents and

versions of the technical documentation not only helps keep effective control of construction
progress but also ensures better construction quality. This paper gives a general introduction
of the categories, quantity, regulations of preservation, and management software system of
the Xinzhuang & Luzhou lines’ technical documentation, with the hope it will enhance the

effectiveness of innovative knowledge and knowledge management.
